One address, and what to send it

There is no form here and no mailing list. One email address reaches the people who write these pages, and corrections that cite a document get acted on fastest.

Write to [email protected]. That address lands with whoever wrote the page you are complaining about. There is no contact form on this site, no sign-up box and no mailing list, so nothing here collects your address for any other purpose.

Corrections

These are the most useful thing anyone sends. A correction that names the page, quotes the sentence and points at the document that contradicts it can usually be checked and fixed the same week. One that says a page is wrong without saying where takes far longer and sometimes cannot be resolved at all.

Documents in this field move. A drug label gets revised, a regulator re-dates a page, a professional body publishes a newer census that supersedes the one quoted here. If you have spotted that a source has moved on, that is a correction and it is welcome.

Three things this address cannot do

  • It cannot tell you whether to have surgery, or what to put on your face. Nobody here is qualified to, and answering would be worse than not replying. That question needs somebody who can examine you.
  • It cannot recommend a clinic or a surgeon, and will not be persuaded to off the record either. Naming none is the site's position, not a gap waiting to be filled in private.
  • It cannot look at your photographs. Please do not send them. Nobody here can read a photograph of a face usefully, and a dermatologist looking at the real thing can.

If you represent a company or a clinic

Factual corrections about your own published information are read and acted on like any other. Requests to be listed, reviewed, ranked or linked are not, and a payment offer will not change that — this site does not sell placement, and that is the whole reason it is worth reading.
